At the December 5, 2016, City Council meeting, the Salem City Council designated March 14, 2017, as the date for a special election to fill the vacant Ward 6 position. This special election will occur only within Ward 6. A map of Ward 6 boundaries can be found on the City’s website at bit.ly/ward-6.
