City Council Chambers
The Salem Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, April 18 at 5:30 p.m. in City Council Chambers to consider amendments to the Salem Revised Code that would allow accessory dwelling units (ADUs) in Salem. An ADU is a second dwelling unit that is attached or detatched from a main house on a lot. It is smaller than the main house.
The City is considering allowing ADUs in Salem as a way to expand housing choices in Salem. More information about the proposed code amendment and upcoming public hearing can be found on the project website*.
