State Street Corridor Plan to Revitalize the Street
The State Street Corridor Plan project aims to revitalize State Street from 12th to 25th Street into a vibrant, walkable, mixed-use corridor. The project will result in the following:
- Proposed land use regulations that encourage pedestrian-friendly, mixed-use development
- Proposed alternative street designs that are intended to create a safer, more welcoming environment for pedestrians and bicyclists
“This project is partially funded by a grant from the Transportation and Growth Management (TGM) Program, a joint program of the Oregon Department of Transportation and the Oregon Department of Land Conservation and Development.
This TGM grant is financed, in part, by federal Moving Ahead for Progress in the 21st Century (MAP-21), local government, and State of Oregon funds.
