State Street Corridor Plan Project
Stakeholder Advisory Committee Meeting
Tuesday, January 23, 2018 | 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM
Salem Public Library | Anderson Rooms
The Stakeholder Advisory Committee for the State Street Corridor Plan project will meet on Tuesday, January 23rd.
All are invited to attend!
The committee will hear an update on the project, including how staff has proposed to address recent comments from the public. The update will cover revisions to the proposed mixed-use zones on State Street and an analysis of development feasibility in the corridor. The committee will also discuss the preferred street design.
The State Street Corridor Plan project builds off of the work done by Northeast Neighbors (NEN) and Southeast Salem Neighborhood Association (SESNA) in the adopted NEN-SESNA Neighborhood Plan. It also advances City Council’s economic development goal and strategies.
The project seeks to revitalize State Street between 12th and 25th Street into a vibrant, walkable, mixed-use corridor.
